What is “renewable” about Vinco Performance product?
Two things are truly renewable input Vinco. 1. Vinco frames made from a 100% organic biopolymer. This proprietary material is synthesised from the most “renewable” resource on the planet: wood fiber. 2. Vinco product is also designed to be completely rebuildable, should any component ever require servicing.
Are “Recycled” or Castor bean plastics comparable?
Vinco Performance co-developed a proprietary 100% organic biopolymer, which is exclusive to our products.“Recycled” plastics are essentially blends old and new material or 50% organic content in the case of G850 Castor Bean oil /plastic blends.
Are Vinco sunglasses polarized?
Polarized lenses are specifically intended for water sports, to reduce glare on the surface of water. However, they can also block visibility of phones and other digital device screens. In light of that fact, Vinco passed on polarizing, and developed use-specific lenses: Sola (bright light) and Terra (Forest trail / low light).
Are Vinco lenses block UV radiation?
Yes, All Vinco lenses block UVA & UVB ultraviolet wavelengths, and rated (UV400). Wearing Vinco eyewear for outdoor sports at all times, is an easy step you can take to protect your eyes, and promote vision wellness.
Are Vinco lenses scratch resistant?
Yes, Vinco Performance lenses have anti-scratch coating which helps prevent the lens itself from abrasion. Proper care and maintenance will help to keep Vinco or any lens perfect for a longer life.
What are the best practices for lens care and maintenance?
Always keep your Vinco eyewear clean. A good baseline is to wash gently with warm soapy water and a soft sponge to remove any dust, salt, sweat etc. Dry them with your Vinco microfibre pouch. The same applies to any touch-ups necessary, using only the microfiber pouch.
How do I know if I should purchase large or small size Vinco?
Vinco believes athletes deserve superior fitting eyewear. We offer two sizes which are about 4-5mm different in width (134mm + 139mm respectively). This may not sound like much…but on people’s faces, it makes a real difference. Add to that, flexible temple tips which allow the wearer to customise the amount of retention they desire. All things to help you hone in that perfect fit for the perfect coverage.
Can Vinco be used for sports other than Running or Cycling?
Yes, any activity that finds you outside is ideal for Vinco. Skiing, Motorcycling, Paragliding, Climbing, Beach Volleyball, Tennis, Golf, etc.
What if something goes wrong with my Vinco eyewear?
Your Vinco eyewear products are warranted for a period of two years from purchase. Send them back to us for a full rebuild or replacement at no cost to you. See your warranty leaflet for specific details.
